EPA WARNS ON BUSHFIRE SMOKE

Following serious deterioration of Melbourne air quality this morning, due to smoke from bushfires mainly on King Island, EPA Victoria is issuing a waring to people with respiratory illness to be particularly careful today.


Smoke from Bushfires located mainly on King Island, have caused serious deterioration to Melbourne’s air quality due to very high levels of particles in the air.
The conditions are likely to persist for much of the day, owing to the still air mass

People with respiratory illnesses should avoid vigorous exercise and ensure they take any relevant medication
