Noise from neighbours is a widespread and important issue. Residential noise significantly annoys around 770,000 Victorians each year.
A story-gathering process was used to gather information about the experiences of the Victorian community. Residents in local areas came together to share their experiences of noise from neighbours.
Analysis of the stories showed that there are many challenges to resolving residential noise issues.
