| As part of a program to assess air quality in regional Victoria, EPA Victoria monitored particle and ozone levels in Warrnambool from October 2006 to October 2007. Particles were monitored both as the mass of particles in the air smaller than 10 micrometers (‘PM10’) and as visibility-reducing particles (‘visibility’). Warrnambool had generally good air quality, typically better than or similar to other monitored regions in Victoria (Melbourne, Geelong and the Latrobe Valley). | |
